If you are a Registered Training Organisation then you will be aware of the national standards which dictate that your programs must include an assessment of any RPL skills.

You are obligated to have a process for recognising prior learning and for ensuring that all staff and stakeholders within your organisation understand the RPL process. This can be a headache when you have 1001 other things to do with new clients, and when evidence to support RPL can come in all shapes and sizes (most commonly stuffed into a carrier bag!).
